We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will teach across Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary, inspiring students to develop a strong foundation in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum standards.
- Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assessment: Design and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
- Classroom Environment: Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and respect.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the school's academic growth.
- Pastoral Care: Support students personal development and wellbeing, acting as a mentor and role model.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Education (specialization in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science preferred).
- Teaching certification or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience teaching at secondary level (Lower and/or Upper Secondary).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to design creative, inquiry-based lessons that foster independent learning.
