Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor to teach Secondary School Social Studies and Geography (Lower and Upper Secondary, including N/O Levels). The ideal candidate is passionate about Humanities education and able to help students develop critical thinking, structured answering techniques, and content mastery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-to-one and small group tuition for Secondary students
- Teach Social Studies and Geography in line with the Singapore MOE syllabus
- Guide students in answering structured and source-based questions (SBQ)
- Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials
- Monitor and track students academic progress and performance
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / A-Level qualifications Degree holders preferred
- Strong proficiency in Social Studies and Geography (Secondary level)
- Familiarity with SBQ and essay-writing techniques
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Patient, responsible, and able to engage teenagers effectively
