Job Summary
Join Blue3 Academy as a Secondary Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus, support student progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Secondary Chemistry lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus to enhance student understanding and academic performance
- Provide individualized support to students to address learning gaps and strengthen math skills
- Monitor and track student progress regularly and communicate feedback effectively to parents
- Develop and refine teaching materials, worksheets, and lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
- Create and maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning
- Participate actively in trainings, meetings, and team development sessions to improve teaching effectiveness
- Support centre initiatives including academic programs and marketing activities to contribute to centre growth
- Manage classroom dynamics and student behavior to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
- Travel to the East region as required and work at least one weekend per week to meet operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of the Singapore Secondary Chemistry syllabus, including O-Level content
- Educated within the Singapore education system
- Ability to work at least one weekend per week
- Willingness to travel
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Secondary Chemistry
- Passion for teaching and working with students
- Strong communication skills to engage students and liaise with parents
- Effective classroom management skills to maintain discipline and foster learning

- Fixed Monthly Scheme: Starting from $3,200/month for fresh graduates, providing stable income
- Commission-Based Scheme: Performance-based with earning potential up to $7,000/month
