Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver lessons that effectively teach knowledge and techniques to enhance each learner's understanding across Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, IGCSE, and IB Diploma levels
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students as assigned by the Head of School
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop differentiated lesson plans, learning engagements, and assessment opportunities that address diverse learner needs
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, set measurable goals for improvement, and communicate outcomes through written reports and parent meetings
- Lead or actively participate in extracurricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings to contribute to the school community
- Promote and model the attributes and attitudes of the IB Learner Profile and uphold the school's core values
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all students within the learning environment
- Utilize strong ICT literacy to support teaching and learning processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- Bachelor's degree and a professional teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma), valid Teacher License, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- High proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate and deliver curriculum content
- Strong knowledge and experience teaching Arts at Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, IGCSE, or IBDP levels
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in an international school environment
- Demonstrated passion for delivering student-centred, inquiry-based learning
