Responsibilities
About the team
Aim to support TikTok's vertical search business, serving global users discovery needs. Centered on user intent understanding, the team conducts user-centric experience evaluations and assesses model and strategy capabilities to identify key gaps and opportunities in search performance. In close partnership with Product and Engineering, we define, optimize, and iterate search product features and strategies to deliver accurate, high-quality content and services, driving better user experience and business outcomes.

- Lead product operations for TikTok's vertical search business, driving user experience optimization, strategy iteration, and business growth across multiple search scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with Product Manager, R&D, Data Science, and other cross-functional teams to support the full lifecycle of core strategies, from problem definition and opportunity identification to solution design, agile iteration, impact validation, and full-scale rollout.
- Leverage deep understanding of content ecosystems and user search intent to identify experience blind spots, supply gaps, and growth opportunities through deep-dive research and data/case/feedback analysis. Define the Ideal State for core scenarios to provide logical inputs and directional guidance for product optimization.
- Continuously monitor online search experience and core business metrics. Establish and improve a complete bad case management workflow covering issue discovery, severity grading, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking. Proactively represent the user perspective to drive technical teams toward issue resolution and quality improvement. Conduct necessary intervention operations under compliance guidelines to safeguard core online experiences.
- Act as a hub for cross-regional and cross-timezone collaboration in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment. Efficiently coordinate with different teams to independently drive complex projects and flexibly support urgent business needs, ensuring the accuracy of strategy verification and successful implementation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in product operations, strategy operations, user experience operations, business operations, or product management in tech, internet, search, social media, or content platforms.
- Strong interest in and understanding of search, content ecosystems, creator ecosystems, or user experience optimization. Keenly aware of user needs and behaviors, with the ability to quickly master complex business workflows.
- Excellent structured thinking, problem-breaking down, and data analysis skills, with the ability to combine qualitative and quantitative inputs to independently generate impactful business insights and translate them into actionable product strategy optimizations.
- Able to independently lead complex business areas, with strong ownership, resilience, and prioritization skills. Able to drive consensus and deliver meaningful business results through effective cross-functional collaboration in dynamic, fast-iterating environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of search engine mechanisms and recommendation/distribution flows, or extensive hands-on strategy and operations experience in specific vertical ecosystems such as creator tools, live streaming, or music platforms.
- Heavy user of social media platforms, with strong familiarity with TikTok and similar products.
- Familiarity with international collaboration models; experience driving cross-region and cross-time-zone projects is preferred.
- Proven success in developing new strategies from 0 to 1, or in proactively identifying business gaps that successfully influenced the product roadmap.
