You will be part of our Operational Key Account Team and drive Operational Excellence + Process Improvements to maximize satisfaction of our Key Customers.
How You Create Impact
Your main goal is to manage Customer expectations and to fulfill our Customer Promise.
- To establish + maintain customer relationships; engage in regular contact to facilitate better understanding of customer needs, establish trust and serve as escalation contact.
- To clarify, negotiate if needed, and formalize operational requirements with our customer.
- To increase customer satisfaction and loyalty through design and implementation of customer-specific solutions.
- To facilitate new business by acting as a subject matter expert on our service offerings and operational capabilities.
- To serve as a facilitator and single point of contact for implementation of new business, joint projects or any other customer requests not directly related to immediate day-to-day operations.
- To identify operational risks and ensure all relevant parties are informed.
- To act on customers behalf respective to articulating needs and requirements to the greater Kuehne + Nagel operational organization.
- To create and maintain the MOP (for global roles) and support countries with local SOP definitions.
- To support set up in our operational systems and process automation.
- To negotiate and formalize customer Key Performance Indicators in cooperation with GKAM and Operational Management.
- To facilitate development of reports for KPI measurements and monitoring of operational performance.
- To analyze root causes of non-performance and drive internal operational improvements.
- To develop and present data related to KPI performance, projects and any other relevant operational matters during customers Business Reviews on global level as required; assist GKAM in preparation of Business Review presentations.

Start your day by reviewing your incoming customer requests and potential escalations and follow up on any open topics or pending deliverables. Reply to customer-related questions from our operational colleagues. Look for process improvements and opportunities to extend transparency about customer requirements for our operation through process visualization, process training and structured documentation.
Next, review our operational performance and define corrective actions. Stay in close contact with our Operational - and Customer Care Locations to get an understanding of their needs to manage customer expectations. Consult with our systems experts to identify automation options. During the day, maintain close relationship with the GKAM to ensure a constant exchange of information between commercial and operational customer account management.
