Sculptor

Looking for qualified 3D sculptors who are able to perform the roles of 3D sculpting and theming works for our festive decorations and other 3D polyfoam projects. The tasks include:

Sculpting & Fabrication: Carving, shaping, and sculpting raw foam blocks into detailed 3D structures using hot-wire tools, CNC routing, and hand tools.

Theming & Texturing: Applying hard coatings (such as polyurea), texture coats, and detailed paint finishes (scenic painting) to make the foam look like stone, wood, metal, or other textures as per client's drawings.

Concept Interpretation: Translating artistic drawings, storyboards, and 3D digital models into accurate, full-scale physical forms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Artistic Mastery: A strong sense of proportion, anatomy, and spatial awareness to create realistic or stylized 3D forms.
• Material Knowledge: Proficiency in handling polyfoam, resins, paints, and protective coatings, including an understanding of how these materials react to weather or public interaction.
• Tool Proficiency: Skill with hot-wire cutters, power tools, and airbrushing equipment.
• Physical Stamina: The role is physically demanding, often requiring long hours of standing, lifting, and working in dusty studio environments.
