Scientist (XY Lab), IMCB

The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) is seeking highly motivated Scientist to join us in the field of kidney biology and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) modeling. The work will involve molecular biology, cell biology and expertise in organoid biology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute experiments
• Develop novel stem cell-derived platforms for studying kidney biology
• Perform molecular and cellular assays
• Participate actively in literature review, collaborative research, and cross functional initiatives
• Ensure timely progress towards project milestones and contribute to manuscript, patent applications and reports
• Supervise and mentor students and research officers
• Support laboratory operations, including procurement, inventory management as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• PhD or MD/PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, or a related field
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, translational research environment
• Strong commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary research and mentoring
• Strong organizational skills, scientific rigor, and a proactive, curiosity-driven mindset
