Our client is a European-headquartered company that specializes in production of natural ingredients derived from plant sources, supplying to diverse businesses across Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and Health & Wellness sectors. They are deeply committed to R&D and uses high-quality extracts with a key focus on sustainability. The Scientific Liaison role is a commercially-driven position to support the regional sales team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the APAC Commercial Lead, you will act as a key scientific partner across R&D and commercial teams, providing expert technical support to internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers. This role is responsible for reviewing and interpreting scientific literatureand clinical data, supporting commercial discussions with credible scientific insight, and developing scientific protocols aligned with regulatory and business requirements. The Scientific Liaison will prepare high-quality technical and regulatory documentation, ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimise technical, economic, and registration solutions, while contributing to ongoing and ad hoc scientific initiatives.
As this is a regional role covering APAC, you will be expected to travel up to 50%.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with a Master of Science or PhD in Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science or closely related discipline. Having some (1 3 years) experience in Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, QA/QC within Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Devices will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates in MSc and PhD can be considered. As this is a client-facing role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in speaking to stakeholders of all levels.
