Science Teacher (Chemistry / Physics / Lower Sec Science)

About the role

We are seeking secondary school level Science Teachers (Chemistry / Physics / Lower Sec Science) to join our team at Ruisheng Education Centre (3 mins walk from Clarke Quay MRT). This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with dedicated students and colleagues in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in your subject area to secondary school students

• Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs

• Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records

• Collaborating with fellow teachers to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods

• Participating in staff meetings, professional development activities, and other school initiatives

• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Physics or a relevant subject area

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary school level

• Able to work both weekends 9am to 6pm and Mon to Wed 10am to 7pm (rest days on Thursday and Friday)

• Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching and learning

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students
