Science Store Assistant #Bright Hill Drive

Working Hour:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of half an hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Skills:

• Independent and confident
• Preferably completed Sec 4 education
• Relevant work experience
• Preferably 2 years of work experience in a primary school science laboratory
• Team player who is organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Proficient in MS office

Job Scope:

• Maintain cleanliness and daily upkeep of science rooms.
• Inspect learning resources for quality and damages.
• Label, sort and store resources by type and level for easier access.
• Maintain stock records and carry out physical stock counts.
• Monitor stock levels and spoilages twice annually.
• Provide logistical support to teachers by packing items requested daily and for practical assessments and major learning events.
• To provide support to science teachers and HOD for any other ad hoc task assigned and related matters.
