Location: Bedok Green Primary School, 1 Bedok South Ave 2, Singapore 469317 Contract Period: 1st January 2025 - 31st December 2025 (with an option to extend for 1 year) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
Objective: The Science Laboratory Attendant will support the administrative and preparation duties at Bedok Green Primary School, ensuring smooth operations within the science department, maintaining the lab, and assisting with various science-related activities.
Key Responsibilities: Lesson Preparation:
Prepare materials for daily science lessons.
Assist in setting up department noticeboard displays.
Support regular department programs, including competitions and external school activities.
Perform gardening duties related to the science curriculum.
Laboratory Maintenance:
Clean and organize science equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the science labs.
Manage and organize the inventory list of science materials and equipment.
Logistical Support:
Provide logistical support for department and school programs.
Assist with administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other applications.
Student and Staff Interaction:
Interact with all staff in the school and provide attentive support to students and parents.
Maintain a calm demeanor while working in a dynamic environment. Ad-hoc Duties:
Assist with any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department/Laboratory Head (HOD/LH-Science) and/or Admin Manager. Qualifications & Experience:
Preferably a pass in N levels.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Enjoys working with and attending to children.
Prior experience working in a school environment is an added advantage.
