Science Lab Assistant (Khatib)

Contract duration: 11 months contract (5 Jan 2026 to 20 Nov 2026)

Working hours: Mondays to Fridays: 8.00am to 5.30pm

Job Scope

• Prepare and organize materials and equipment for experiments (Primary 36).
• Assist teachers and students during lessons, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, store and manage laboratory equipment and chemicals, and update logs.
• Monitor inventory and assist with procurement and year-end stock-taking.
• Manage the school front desk, greet visitors, parents, and students, address inquiries, and answer phone calls when not in the lab.

Requirements

• Completed secondary school education.
• At least 1 year of school experience, preferably as a Science Lab Assistant
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).
• Preferably first-aid trained and skilled in organization and inventory management.
