Science Lab Assistant #Bedok North

Working Hour:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
• may be required to come on weekends or stay for extended hours due to school events.

Skills:

• Prior experience working in a Primary School setting is preferred
• Work/personal experience in gardening or environmental-related activities is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Job Scope:

• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the Science Laboratory and its equipment.
• Maintain the school's green hub area, gardens, hydroponics area, and other planting grounds and their equipment.
• Assist teachers in the preparation of science resources, science practical performance tasks and environmental sustainability projects.
• Assist to maintain other special rooms such as Art Room during the school holidays (e.g. organising resources etc).
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Science department.
