Job Description
We are seeking a pleasant, approachable, and competent individual to manage the reception counter and provide vital front-line administrative support at a primary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Counter Management: Manage the school reception counter, attend to walk-in visitors, and handle telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Student Welfare & Sick Bay Support: Support sick bay operations, attend to unwell students, and provide basic first aid care when needed.
- Student Movement Control: Handle logbooks and administration for students leaving school early.
- Logistics & Deliveries: Attend to incoming couriers and supplier deliveries, ensuring all items are properly documented and routed.
- Administrative Support: Perform daily office operations including data entry, filing, mail sorting, handling lost-and-found items, and preparing letters.
- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the reception counter and sick bay areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Operational Duties: Assist with the school's packing and relocation preparations, and carry out other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the school management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: GCE N Level or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in reception, front-facing customer service, or general administration.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of written and spoken English.
- IT Literacy: Proficient in basic word processing, spreadsheet applications, and data entry.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a warm, patient personality suitable for an environment with young children.
- Preferred Attributes:Prior administrative experience within an MOE primary school environment is a distinct advantage.Knowledge or certification in basic First Aid is highly preferred
Working Hours
- Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
- Rest Days: Off on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays.
