Job Description:

• Identify and maintain a wide range of plants, trees, and shrubs, ensuring their healthy growth and appearance.
• Diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate treatments and corrective actions.
• Carry out routine gardening duties including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Design and propose landscape improvements and enhancement projects for the NJC campus.
• Maintain cleanliness and aesthetic standards of school grounds and landscaped areas.
• Ensure all gardening activities comply with school safety policies and operational requirements.
• Work collaboratively within the school environment while maintaining professionalism and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in gardening and landscaping.
• Good knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Ability to identify various plant species and understand their characteristics and maintenance needs.
• Skilled in diagnosing plant health problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to design and propose landscape improvements and enhancements.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Minimum educational qualification: PSLE.
• Passionate about landscaping and outdoor work.
