Job Description

Working Hour

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm
  • Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm


Key Roles

1. Investigative & Case Support

  • Assist in conducting preliminary investigations and fact-finding interviews related to minor incidents.

  • Obtain student and witness statements where appropriate.

  • Compile evidence and prepare structured incident reports for relevant key personnel.

2. Detention & IGNITE+ Programme Follow-Up

  • Supervise students assigned to detention (Monday to Thursday) or the IGNITE+ programme (Monday and Wednesday).

  • Ensure students complete assigned tasks during detention.

  • Follow up with form teachers regarding students who have missed their assigned detention.

  • Ensure that detention tasks are meaningful and developmental in nature.

3. In-House Suspension Support

  • Assist school staff in managing students who are sent out of class, placed on internal suspension, or reported missing from class.

  • Support learning continuity during suspension by liaising with form teachers.

4. Administrative Support

  • Perform data entry related to late-coming, student offences, and interventions.

  • Compile weekly or monthly discipline statistics as required.

  • Assist in monitoring student reporting channels.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information.

  • Review detention, late-coming, and corrective work processes during school holidays.

5. General Duties

  • Perform any other administrative or operational duties related to student management as assigned by the school authority during the period of employment.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma.

  • Preferred experience: At least 3 years of working experience in a uniformed service background (e.g., Police, Prison Service, or equivalent), preferably with involvement in youth-related case investigation.

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google collaborative tools is preferred.

  • Interpersonal & communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Disposition: Calm and composed demeanor, with the ability to handle challenging student situations professionally.
