We are seeking an experienced SIP Supervisor to support a major Plant Turnaround / Shutdown project. The successful candidate will supervise scaffolding, insulation, and painting activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise scaffolding, insulation, and painting crews during turnaround activities.
- Coordinate daily work activities and manpower allocation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, permit-to-work systems, and project procedures.
- Monitor scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling activities.
- Oversee insulation removal, installation, reinstatement, and painting/coating works.
- Ensure work quality, productivity, and schedule requirements are achieved.
- Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of work.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SIP-related works within refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, or industrial plants.
- Must have completed at least 2-3 Plant Turnaround / Shutdown projects in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety requirements, insulation systems, and industrial coating/painting practices.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site work crews.
- Good understanding of PTW systems, risk assessments, and industrial safety requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
