Job Description & Requirements
- Erecting Scaffolding Structures : Assembling scaffolding poles, frames, and planks to create platforms that provide safe access to different parts of a construction site. This involves fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures and ensuring a stable and secure base.
- Dismantling Scaffolding : Safety taking down scaffolding structures onces they are no longer needed, ensuring that all components are properly handled and stored for future use.
- Inspecting and Maintaing Equipment : Regularly checking scaffolding materials and equipment for damage or defects to ensure that they are in good condition and meet industry standards.
- Following Safety Guidelines : Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. This includes installing guard rails, safety netting, and ensuring platforms are well-guarded.
- Collaborating with Construction Teams : Working closely with other construction professionals to coordinate activities and ensure that scaffolding meets the specific needs of the project.
- Conducting Job Hazard Analysis : Identifying potential hazards on the job site and implementing procedures to mitigate risks.
- Maintaining Records : Keeping detailed documentation of scaffolding activities, inspections, and any maintenance performed.
- Providing Feedback : Communicating with managers and supervisors to suggest improvements to scaffolding processes and safety measures.
