Roles and Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Indoor Sales Support Cum Telemarketer to prospect and generating new sales leads through cold calling and networking.
Job Description:
- Prospecting and generating new sales leads through cold calling and networking.
- Securing of appointments with target companies.
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries.
- Gathering information and sharing of customer's feedback with the wider team.
- Coordinate with sales to assist on pricing with local or overseas vendor to obtain accurate rates.
- Prepare freight quotations for air, sea and land shipments based on customer requirements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties / target sector as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min. 1 - 2 years in Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry (sales support / customer service preferred)
- Knowledge of air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and shipping incoterms is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Good coordination skills and attention to details.
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Able to start immediate or within short notice.
