SAP Treasury Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Treasury & Commodity Management Consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementations of SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) and Commodity Management (CM) within complex, global finance landscapes. The role requires deep expertise in treasury processes, commodity pricing, hedging strategies, and tight integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Risk Management

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), including:

  • Cash Management

  • Liquidity Planning

  • In-House Cash

  • Bank Account Management (BAM)

• Configure and integrate global payment formats and banking interfaces.

• Design and execute FX hedge exposure strategies using Market Risk Analyzer, improving forecast accuracy and risk visibility.

• Support intercompany transfers and foreign currency payments, collaborating with finance, treasury, and business stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP through Universal Parallel Accounting (UPA) and multi-ledger reporting.

Commodity Management & Risk

• Configure and support SAP Commodity Management (CM) aligned with:

  • Trading processes

  • Hedging strategies

  • Risk analytics and reporting

• Must have hands-on experience with Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) and Risk Management.

• Integrate FSCM Commodity Management with core finance processes.

• Ensure seamless integration of CM with MM, SD, TM, and FICO modules.

• Support commodity valuation, pricing, and exposure reporting.

SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Strong implementation experience across SAP S/4HANA Finance modules:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Asset Accounting

  • Controlling (CO)

• Configure cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders for accurate cost and margin tracking.

• Automate month-end close and financial reporting, reducing cycle time and manual effort.

Project Delivery & Support

• Lead data migration and cutover planning for ECC to S/4HANA transitions.

• Conduct UAT, end-user training, and post-go-live support for Treasury and FICO modules.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on Treasury, TRM, and Commodity Management

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience

• Deep knowledge of CPE, Market Risk Analyzer, FX hedging, and treasury operations

• Strong integration experience across CM, MM, SD, TM, and FICO

• Experience with global banking, payments, and cash structures

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in commodity trading, energy, metals, or agribusiness

• SAP S/4HANA certifications in Finance or Treasury

• Exposure to global or multi-entity rollouts
