About the Role
As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead, you will play a critical role in leading and managing Finance consultants within the Application Management Services (AMS) team. You will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring stability, continuous improvement, and business value delivery across SAP Finance and Reporting solutions while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization.
This role combines hands-on SAP expertise, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement to drive operational excellence and support ongoing business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of SAP Finance consultants within the AMS environment, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Provide application support across SAP S/4HANA Finance and Reporting modules, resolving incidents and driving root-cause analysis
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, align stakeholders, and translate needs into effective SAP solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed functional and process documentation to support system enhancements and integrations
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance, Group Reporting, and Revenue Accounting & Reporting
- Leverage data analysis and reporting insights to support decision-making and process optimization
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and automation within finance processes and systems
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including configuration and support
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing SAP Finance teams in an AMS or support environment
- Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes and financial reporting
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive alignment
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or equivalent
