SAP SD Lead

As an SAP SD Lead, you'll be the expert in all things SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), ensuring seamless integration with Material Management (MM) and Logistics Execution (LE). You'll play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP SD solutions that meet complex business needs. We're looking for someone with a minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP SD.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP SD Implementations: Guide the full lifecycle of SAP SD implementations, from initial planning to go-live and ongoing support.

Business Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of intricate business process requirements, translating them into effective SAP system solutions. Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer needs.

Requirements Facilitation & Design: Lead workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements. Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, then design, customize, configure, and test SAP SD to create tailored solutions.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify gaps and issues, developing innovative workaround solutions. Act as the primary liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software problems efficiently.

Documentation & Enhancement: Create clear and concise functional designs, test cases, and results documentation. Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

Consulting & Support: Provide expert consulting services for both new SAP implementations and existing support projects.

Cross-functional Liaison: Serve as the crucial link between business functions and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Training & Mentorship: Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as needed. Work autonomously and independently, often mentoring more junior team members as a subject matter expert.

Desired Skills & Expertise

SAP SD Mastery: Proficient in all aspects of SAP Sales and Distribution modules, including but not limited to pricing, order management, and billing.

Master Data Management: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with master data crucial to sales processes.

Logistics Acumen: Solid knowledge of logistics processes within SAP SD.

Delivery Types: Familiarity with various delivery types and their impact on efficient order fulfillment.

Credit Management: Experience with credit management processes within SAP SD.

IDOC Proficiency: Understanding of IDOCs (Intermediate Documents) for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems.
