Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD modules to enhance business processes and ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have strong business process understanding, configuration experience, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the Sales and Distribution process.
- Configure and customize SAP SD module components including sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
- Integrate SD with other SAP modules such as MM, FI/CO, PP, and WM.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Develop and execute test cases, perform unit testing, and support UAT.
- Analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner and provide production support for SAP SD processes.
- Work with ABAP developers to implement custom enhancements or reports.
- Support master data management and maintain documentation of configurations and changes.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of core SD processes:
- Sales order management
- Delivery & shipping
- Pricing & discounts
- Billing & invoicing
- Credit & returns management
- Experience with integration points (FI, MM, PP, WM).
- Knowledge of SD Master Data (Customer Master, Material Master, Pricing Conditions).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in S/4HANA environment is an advantage.
- SAP Certification in Sales and Distribution (SD) is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in global implementation or support projects.
- Understanding of IDocs, EDI, and Interfaces.
- Familiarity with Agile or Hybrid Agile methodologies.
