Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Lead to support the implementation, enhancement, and operational support of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to deliver effective solutions, optimize business processes, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation and post-go-live support, covering:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Lease Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Work with business users to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and external platforms, including voyage accounting and financial systems.
- Analyze and improve finance and operational business processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage functional workstreams, monitor project progress, identify risks, and support project delivery.
- Coordinate system testing activities, including SIT and UAT.
- Support data migration, validation, go-live preparation, training, and hypercare activities.
- Manage vendors and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines and service levels.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 10 years of experience in enterprise application implementation, business analysis, or IT project delivery.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and support, particularly in Finance modules.
- Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Lease Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
- Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and UAT coordination.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus.
