SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead (FM/GL/AA)

As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end functional delivery of Funds Management (FM), General Ledger (GL), and Asset Accounting (AA) within a greenfield public sector implementation.

You will lead blueprint and detailed design workshops, define functional specifications for custom developments, and ensure alignment of the solution with public sector budget control requirements.

You will also support finance data migration and collaborate with cross-functional teams during system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and integrity. Post go-live, you will provide functional support during hypercare to stabilize operations and ensure successful adoption of the S/4HANA solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead blueprinting and detailed design workshops

• Drive end-to-end functional delivery for FM, GL, and AA

• Define and document functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments

• Ensure alignment with public sector budget control requirements

• Support data migration activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during SIT and UAT

• Provide post go-live support during hypercare

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance - General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA)

• Experience in Funds Management (FM) / Budget Control Systems

• Proven experience in end-to-end S/4HANA implementations

• Experience leading functional design and client workshops

Good to Have

• Public sector implementation experience

• Strong understanding of financial processes

• Experience in finance systems and integrations
