SAP Project Manager

Our organization operates as an elite internal IT consultancy, driving digital transformation across our global enterprise. As we gear up to expand our capabilities and take on external SAP engagements in the future, we are seeking a highly commercial, battle-tested Senior SAP Project Manager to lead complex, multi-million-dollar S/4HANA transformations.

You will not just be an order taker for the business. You will act as a strategic gatekeeper and internal consultant, enforcing a Clean Core philosophy, minimizing customizations, and standardizing business processes across Logistics, Finance, and Enterprise Integration streams.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Commercial Delivery: Own the full project lifecycle from inception, RFP, and vendor contracting (SOWs) through to delivery and handover to the Run Team.
• Project Financials: Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets, tracking P&L, resource forecasting, and vendor costs with the rigor of a Tier-1 System Integrator.
• Business Process Governance: Act as the strategic pushback against business units. Champion a Clean Core and Fit-to-Standard approach, actively minimizing bespoke applications and data customization.
• Complex Cross-Platform Integration: Direct the architectural and functional integration of SAP S/4HANA with the broader enterprise ecosystem, most notably Salesforce, ServiceNow, and MuleSoft.
• Vendor & SI Management: Govern external implementation partners, holding them accountable to strict commercial and delivery SLAs.

Who We Are Looking For (Required Qualifications)

• The Consulting Pedigree: 7–10+ years of SAP Project/Program Management experience, with a strong preference for candidates currently or recently employed at a Tier-1 System Integrator or Big 4 Consultancy (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, IBM, NCS).
• The Tech Stack: Deep, end-to-end delivery experience in SAP S/4HANA (Finance/Logistics).
• The Integration Chops: Proven, hands-on project management experience integrating SAP with middleware and CRM/ITSM platforms—specifically MuleSoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• The Delivery Methodology: Expertise in traditional, hybrid, and proprietary SI delivery frameworks for complex enterprise landscapes. (Note: We are looking for leaders who can govern complex, bespoke integrations, not strictly administrators of the SAP Activate methodology).
• The Mindset: You are tech-agnostic, commercially savvy, and comfortable navigating the C-suite. You think like an external Engagement Manager and know how to frame scope, value, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders
