Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation and enhancement of SAP production planning and manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver SAP PP solutions across manufacturing and production planning environments, preferably using SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse business requirements for production planning and manufacturing.
- Configure and support SAP PP including MRP, Demand Management, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Orders and Capacity Planning.
- Support Planned Independent Requirements (PIR) and production planning processes.
- Configure and support Repetitive Manufacturing and Shop Floor Control.
- Support production planning, scheduling, confirmations, goods movements and production execution.
- Integrate SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM and FI/CO.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade and enhancement projects.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing and UAT and resolve functional defects.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP PP issues.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents and training materials.
- Work with global/local stakeholders to improve manufacturing and production planning processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders and Capacity Planning.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP is preferred.
- Experience in Repetitive Manufacturing is an advantage.
- Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM and FI/CO.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, transformation or production support projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- SAP PP / S/4HANA Manufacturing certification.
- Experience in discrete, process or repetitive manufacturing.
- Experience in global SAP transformation or rollout programmes.
- Exposure to SAP APO/PPDS or SAP IBP is an advantage.
