SAP MM Consultant

We are looking for an expert SAP MM Consultant with a mastery of Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes to drive the supply chain transformation for our S/4HANA implementation. You will be responsible for streamlining our procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification workflows to ensure a lean and transparent supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

As the PTP functional lead, your focus will be:

• Solution Design: Lead design sessions to transition legacy procurement processes into S/4HANA Best Practices, focusing on simplification and automation.

• Core Configuration: Extensive hands-on configuration of the PTP cycle:

  • Organisational Structure: Plants, Storage Locations, and Purchasing Orgs.

  • Master Data: Transitioning Vendors to Business Partners (BP) and managing Material Master (including MRP views).

  • Procurement: Purchase Requisitions, RFQs, Purchase Orders, and Release Procedures (Workflow/Flexible Workflow).

  • Inventory Management: Goods Receipts, Transfers, Physical Inventory, and Subcontracting.

• Seamlessly connecting MM with FI (Accounts Payable), SD (Stock Transport Orders), and PP (MRP).

• Implementing Operational Procurement via Fiori, Self-Service Requisitioning, and Ariba integration (if applicable).

• Developing test scripts for UAT, managing data cutover activities, and providing post-go-live hypercare.

Required Skills & Experience

• S/4HANA Proficiency: At least one full-cycle S/4HANA Greenfield or Brownfield implementation.

• PTP Expertise: Deep knowledge of indirect and direct procurement, service procurement, and automated account determination (OBYC).

• Analytical Tools: Experience with S/4HANA embedded analytics and standard Fiori reporting for procurement KPIs.

• Technical Aptitude: Proficient in troubleshooting via ABAP debugging and managing data loads through the Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM).

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Certification.

• Experience with SAP Ariba or SAP Fieldglass integration.
