Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Operations Lead to oversee the delivery of SAP application management services and lead a team of SAP professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP functional and technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure stable, high-quality SAP operations.

Top Must-Have / Primary Skills:

  • SAP Experience: Proven experience in SAP application management, support, or a similar SAP-focused role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with hands-on experience leading technical teams.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and SAP-specific operational processes.

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)

  • SAP Certification: Certification in relevant modules such as SAP Basis, SAP Fiori, or related areas is an advantage.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on technical knowledge of SAP systems, including ABAP, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of SAP application management services, ensuring high-quality support, stability, and performance of SAP systems.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP AMS professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and career development.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Ensure timely resolution of SAP-related incidents and problems by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Change Management: Manage SAP change requests, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to established change management processes.
  • Service Level Management: Monitor, track, and report on SLAs, KPIs, and service metrics to ensure agreed service levels are consistently met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and effective issue resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge bases, operational documentation, and training materials to support SAP AMS services.
