SAP Functional Analyst - Contract

Detailed Job Responsibilities

. Identify and communicate with key stakeholders to gather, review, analyse and document business and system requirements

. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP solution proposals

. Support SAP system implementation and enhancement initiatives

. Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business users to ensure successful system delivery

. Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and testing activities (SIT/UAT)

. Analyse defects and support resolution during testing cycles

. Develop training materials and conduct end-user training

. Create and maintain functional documentation and user manuals

. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization

1. SAP Functional Experience (Hands-on)

Candidates must have hands-on functional experience in one or more SAP modules, including but not limited to:

. FI/CO (Financial Accounting / Controlling)

. MM (Materials Management)

. SD (Sales & Distribution)

. HCM (Human Capital Management) or related modules

Required Direct Involvement

Experience must include active participation in the following activities:

. Business requirement analysis

. SAP functional configuration or solution design

. Preparation of functional specifications

. Supporting system integration and user acceptance testing

. Issue analysis and resolution within SAP

2. IT Functional Knowledge (System Implementation Experience)

Candidates must demonstrate strong IT functional knowledge within SAP or enterprise systems, including the ability to:

. Gather and document business requirements

. Translate requirements into functional specifications or system solutions

. Work with technical teams on solution design and implementation

. Support testing execution (SIT/UAT) including test case preparation and defect analysis

3. System Implementation / SAP Project Experience

Candidates should have experience participating in SAP implementation, rollout, or enhancement projects, with exposure to all key project phases:

. Requirement gathering

. Functional design

. System configuration or validation

. Data migration or data conversion testing

. System Integration Testing (SIT)

. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Preferred Skills (Pre-Requisite to the Above)

. Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments

. Healthcare systems or healthcare industry experience (highly preferred)

. Basic SQL knowledge

. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
