• Background as a former SAP Finance Functional Consultant or Solution Architect from a top-tier system integrator or consultancy (e.g., Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte), looking to transition in-house to drive product strategy.
• Direct ownership of critical enterprise finance systems with high business visibility.

about the job

• Drive the global/regional product roadmap for Finance and Tax systems, balancing day-to-day sustaining operations with strategic, high-impact project initiatives.
• Act as the technical and functional authority across the SAP FICO and Tax ecosystem. You'll lead requirement gathering, craft high-level solution designs, and ensure seamless E2E integration across GL, Asset Ledger, pricing conditions, and compliance frameworks.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to local C-suite and Director-level business partners (Finance Director, Tax Director) to solve complex operational and compliance challenges.
• Own the technical vision and direct external SI delivery teams (Accenture, Infosys, offshore hubs) to ensure build quality meets architectural and tax localization standards.

skills and experience required
Proven track record across full lifecycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and complex enhancements (SAP FICO, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Pricing Conditions)

Hands-on foundational understanding of global indirect tax, VAT/GST, e-invoicing, and local statutory/compliance requirements.

Ability to sit across both worlds-deeply understanding business processes while architecting high-level technical solutions.

Whats and offer
