Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with multilingual capabilities (Japanese / Mandarin / Korean) to support global finance transformation projects. The role involves working closely with APAC clients to deliver SAP finance solutions and ensure seamless communication across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from APAC stakeholders
• Configure and support SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules
• Manage core processes:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting
• Cost Center & Profitability Analysis
• Act as a bridge between client and technical teams (translation + interpretation)
• Support local finance compliance and tax requirements (Japan / China / Korea)
• Participate in:
• System testing (UAT, integration)
• Go-live & post-production support
• Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams for delivery

Language Requirements

• Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) OR
• Mandarin (HSK Level 4+) OR
• Korean (TOPIK Level 4+)

(Must be able to communicate professionally in business environments)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• MBA / CA / CMA preferred
• SAP FICO Certification is a plus

Experience

• 2–8 years of experience in SAP FICO
• Experience in APAC region projects preferred
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance is an advantage

• SAP configuration and support experience
• Integration knowledge with MM / SD modules
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in cross-cultural environments

• Experience in localization (tax, statutory reporting)
• Exposure to global rollouts or implementations
• Basic knowledge of ABAP/debugging
