Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong S/4HANA implementation expertise to support financial transformation initiatives and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will deliver robust SAP Finance & Controlling solutions, work directly with business stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration across financial and operational processes.

This role requires deep functional FICO knowledge, hands on configuration skills, and the ability to drive full lifecycle implementations in dynamic project environments

Job Responsibilities

. Maintain, support, and enhance existing SAP FICO solutions spanning General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and related submodules.

. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, configuration documents, and system designs.

. Perform hands-on configuration of SAP FICO modules within S/4HANA, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), new asset accounting, and margin analysis.

. Lead or support full project lifecycle activities including requirement workshops, fit gap analysis, configuration, functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, and cutover.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.) to ensure end-to-end integration across financial and operational processes.

. Prepare and execute system demos, end-user training sessions, process documentation, and post-go-live support.

. Work closely with business users to resolve issues, propose enhancements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

. Establish strong relationships with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.

. Contribute to team knowledge-building, solution standardization, and best practice sharing

The ideal should possess:

. Qualifications Bachelors/Post graduate

. Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in implementation and support roles.

. At least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, with mandatory S/4HANA experience.

. Strong knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including:- General Ledger (New GL / S/4HANA Universal Journal)

. Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

. Asset Accounting (New AA)

. Banking / Cash Management

. Product Costing (CO-PC)

. Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA)

. Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

. Experience with S/4HANA innovations such as:- Universal Journal

. Central Finance (a plus)

. Fiori apps for finance

. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific finance processes.

. Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with business stakeholders and presenting solutions clearly.

. Able to deliver change requests, enhancements, and project work with minimal supervision

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and IT.

. Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in diverse project environments.

. Demonstrated commitment to customer service-solving issues promptly, anticipating needs, and prioritizing business outcomes.

. Ability to document functional requirements, prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects, configure system settings, and support testing cycles.

. Proficient in conducting system demos, user training, and post-implementation support activities.

. Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging or ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams is a plus
