We are hiring a SAP FICO Architect to support a major global SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role requires a hands-on SAP FICO expert who can confidently guide design decisions, manage evolving requirements during build and testing phases, and provide trusted advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the SAP FICO subject matter expert during build, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment
- Co-lead the finance workstream alongside internal finance leads, providing deep functional expertise
- Address questions related to design decisions, configuration changes, and integration points
- Research alternatives and make informed recommendations when new issues or requirements arise
- Ensure alignment of finance system design with business goals and SAP best practices
- Support user testing (UAT), training, and change management across finance teams
- Liaise with technical teams and implementation partners as needed, but independently drive functional finance topics
Requirement
- Solution Architecture experience in large scale global SAP Transformation
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO, including configuration and solutioning
- Deep knowledge across core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Center, etc.)
- Proven experience in leading finance workstreams in SAP transformation projects
- Able to independently assess and resolve finance-related design/configuration issues
- Experience in functional testing, UAT, and post-go-live support
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and IT
