Job Summary
We are seeking an SAP FICA and GL Consultant with 7+ years of global implementation experience to lead end-to-end projects across multiple geographies. The role involves solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment in large-scale SAP landscapes, while bridging business and IT needs.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have 7+ years of SAP FICA experience, with focus on global implementation projects;
- Proven track record with at least 2 full-cycle end-to-end SAP FICA implementations in multinational organizations;
- Must have strong expertise in SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) (dunning, collections, payments, clearing) and SAP General Ledger;
- Must have hands-on experience in customizing and configuring FICA and GL master data, subledger processes, month-end closing, and tax-related accounting processes;
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills across cross-cultural environments;
- Experience in IT project management and implementation methodologies.
Desired Skill-set
- SAP Finance or SAP FICA certification;
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to drive custom developments;
- Familiarity with Finance and O2C reporting and analytics;
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration;
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest Finance/O2C business processes and enabling technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICA and GL implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare;
- Design and configure SAP FICA solutions (contract accounting, invoicing, payments, collections, dunning) and ensure seamless integration with FI-CO and other modules;
- Engage with global stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and manage expectations across regions;
- Ensure compliance with global templates while adapting solutions to meet regional and legal requirements;
- Support data migration, interface design, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support;
- Act as subject matter expert on SAP FICA/GL best practices and troubleshooting Finance/O2C issues;
- Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and issue resolution;
- Develop and deliver financial reports and analyses to support decision-making;
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to cross-functional teams and end-users;
- Participate in project planning, risk management, and documentation;
- Stay updated on emerging Finance/O2C practices and technologies.
