Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, delivery-driven SAP ERP Project Manager to lead medium and large complex SAP ERP implementations (S/4HANA ). The ideal candidate will bring strong financial control, senior stakeholder management, and end-to-end delivery ownership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
This role requires a hands-on leader, not a coordinator, someone who can take full accountability for delivery, challenge stakeholders when needed, and drive execution with discipline and clarity.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Own end-to-end delivery of SAP ERP projects from initiation through go-live and hyper care
- Establish and manage project governance, delivery structure, RACI, and escalation mechanisms
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, milestones, and critical paths
- Proactively identify risks and issues, driving mitigation plans and timely resolutions
Financial Management (Key Skill)
- Full ownership of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing milestones, and margin management
- Manage Fixed Price and Time & Material project models with strong financial discipline
- Monitor effort consumption versus plan and take corrective actions early
- Control scope changes and assess commercial and financial impact before approval
- Ensure financial transparency and avoid cost overruns or delivery surprises
Stakeholder Management (Key Skill)
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders (CIO, CFO, Business Heads, Steering Committee)
- Build trust with stakeholders while firmly managing scope, timeline, and expectations
- Lead Steering Committee meetings and executive updates with clear, fact-based communication
- Confidently handle difficult conversations and escalations in high-pressure situations
Team Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Lead large, multi-disciplinary and multi-location teams (functional, technical, integration, data, testing)
- Hold team members accountable for deliverables, timelines, and quality
- Ensure strong cross-module and end-to-end business process integration
- Drive rigorous SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
Go-Live & Post Go-Live
- Own cutover strategy, go/no-go readiness, and production deployment
- Ensure effective hypercare support and smooth transition to AMS or support teams
- Drive project closure, documentation, and contractual completion
Required Experience & Skills
- 10-15+ years overall SAP project experience
- Minimum 5-8 years as a SAP ERP Project Manager on large implementation programs
- Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA or ECC end-to-end implementations
- Strong understanding of SAP cross-module integration (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HR, interfaces, data migration)
- Excellent financial management and commercial control experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with senior executives
- Solid knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
- Ability to lead under pressure with high ownership and accountability
- Strong ownership mindset and decisiveness
- Structured, transparent, and fact-based communicator
- Ability to challenge constructively and lead with confidence
- High attention to detail in delivery and financial control
