Job Description: SAP Core Security Analyst

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP security and enterprise SAP monitoring environments

Role Overview

We are looking for an SAP Core Security Analyst responsible for SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD), SAP Focused Run, and SAP Solution Manager security operations. The role focuses on SAP security monitoring, alert management, policy enforcement, and ensuring secure SAP landscape operations in a regulated enterprise setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage SAP ETD security patterns and handle alert monitoring, investigation, and closure
• Perform SAP ETD upgrades and ensure continuous security monitoring effectiveness
• Support SAP Focused Run configuration, rollout, and security analysis activities
• Define, implement, and validate SAP security policies across managed landscapes
• Monitor and manage proactive SAP security alerts and event detection mechanisms
• Integrate Guided Procedures to automate security checks and improve control effectiveness
• Work with SDA (Simple Diagnostic Agent) and CCDB in SAP Focused Run environment
• Generate SOS reports and support SAP Solution Manager security operations
• Implement SAP Security Notes and coordinate with third-party vendors for execution
• Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of SAP security issues
• Ensure compliance with SAP security standards and enterprise governance policies
• Support continuous improvement of SAP security posture across systems
