Job Roles & Responsibilities: -
We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant specializing in HANA and MS-SQL databases to provide remote 24x7 database operations support. The role involves database administration, performance tuning, replication, patching, and incident management to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
- Perform HANA database table partitioning, patching, installation, and replication enabling.
- Conduct performance tuning for HANA and MS-SQL databases.
- Manage database incidents, events, outages, and service requests.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Support standard and non-standard build activities.
- Administer backup & recovery processes and strategies.
- Monitor and handle database alerts, implementing optimization measures.
- Decommission systems/servers as per lifecycle requirements.
Job Skills & Requirements: -
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database & MS-SQL.
- Knowledge of database partitioning, replication, and backup/recovery methods.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with database installation and patching procedures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- 3+ years in HANA & MS-SQL database administration (or equivalent expertise).
