SAP Consultant (Basis | Convergent Charging (CC)

The SAP BASIS / Convergent Charging (CC) Consultant is responsible for the administration, stability, and performance of SAP landscapes, with specialized expertise in SAP Convergent Charging. This role ensures seamless operation of SAP systems, supports high-volume real-time charging processes, and enables business continuity through proactive monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution.
You will work across BASIS and CC layers to support implementations, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing operations in complex enterprise environments.

Job scopes

• Administer SAP CC environments including instance setup, configuration, and maintenance
• Perform migrations, system refreshes, and lifecycle management of SAP CC components
• Manage pricing catalogs, charging plans, and configuration transports across environments
• Ensure high availability and performance of CC for high-volume transaction processing
• Troubleshoot charging, rating, and integration issues with upstream/downstream systems
• Perform upgrades, patching, and proactive monitoring
• Collaborate with functional, billing, and integration teams to ensure end-to-end solution stability
• Support project implementations, releases, and production deployments
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials
• Provide on-call/standby support for critical production issues
• Handle transports, client administration, and job scheduling
• Support SAP migration activities (e.g., cloud / RISE transitions)
• Manage end-to-end SAP system administration across landscapes (DEV, SIT, UAT, PRD)
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with SAP/infra teams

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Around 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration (ECC / S/4HANA environments)
• Hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC) administration
• Good understanding of SAP BRIM landscape and integration points (CI, SOM, etc.)
• Experience with SAP migrations (on-prem to cloud / RISE)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and database administration (HANA)
