We are looking for a SAP BTP AI Developer (Senior Associate) to join our Technology Consulting team, supporting the development of AI-driven applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

This role is suited for a hands-on developer who has experience building and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI (LLM) solutions, and is keen to apply these within enterprise SAP landscapes using SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, and BTP services.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications on SAP BTP
• Build and integrate machine learning / LLM-based solutions (e.g. chatbots, document processing, copilots, recommendation engines)
• Work with SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad for model deployment, orchestration, and lifecycle management
• Develop APIs, microservices, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems
• Support implementation of GenAI use cases (e.g. prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search)
• Collaborate with solution architects and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support
• Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and internal capability building

Skills and attributes for success

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (e.g. CAP, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Integration Suite)
• Exposure to SAP AI Core and/or AI Launchpad (even at project / PoC level)
• Experience working with AI/ML or LLM-based solutions
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native development
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with LLM frameworks / GenAI tools (e.g. LangChain, OpenAI, prompt design, RAG architecture)
• Exposure to vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar)
• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA or SAP systems
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks or analytics platforms
• Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in agile teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably within SAP or enterprise environments
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
