Enterprise Systems is part of IS&T and owns the technology behind Apple's SAP environment and its modernization through the SAP Landscape Modernization (SLM) initiative. The team manages the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of the world's largest single-instance SAP deployment — a platform that sustains Apple's global supply chain and the integrity of its core financial systems.

Description
You will be responsible for managing SAP landscapes and databases. This team is a global technical team that oversees complete SAP solutions. Adapting quickly to dynamic environments, learning new technologies, and developing elegant solutions to complex problems will be necessary. Ability to demonstrate problem solving and multi-tasking skills while working with timelines and exercising your knowledge of BASIS Technology. Responsibilities
  • At least 5 years experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of HANA and Oracle databases.
  • Provide Basis support for region specific and corporate run projects.
  • You should have participated in a minimum of 3-4 implementations of SAP systems.
  • Experience in High availability, disaster recovery, system refreshes and backup mechanisms.
  • Experience with SAP system upgrades, patches, and installations.
  • Coordinate with different teams in installation, maintenance and upgrades of HANA systems.
  • Support HANA and Oracle systems through out the lifecycle of projects from time to time.
  • Ensure integrity of HANA databases by designing and applying appropriate security settings.
  • Provide technical upgrades functional and technical enhancements.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer for the team.
  • Solve problems with connectivity, web services, and overall aspects of the SAP solution.
  • Installation, upgrade and maintenance of HANA databases.
  • Proficiency in SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis administration in large environments (preferably SAP Business Suites including S/4 HANA).
  • At least 4 years of HANA administration experience in large environments, preferably running SAP Business Suites

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years experience in user management, monitoring and troubleshooting of HANA database
  • Extensive experience in data compression, table partition, compression techniques.
  • Experience in implementation of S/4 HANA and the ability to lead critical issues involving large HANA systems.
  • Ability to take ownership of work activities and take it to conclusion in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams spread across regions
  • Knowledge on cloud solutions like GCP, AWS or any other cloud solution
  • Basic knowledge of BTP and Scripting
  • Innovation outlook with a focus to analyse and resolve issues quickly in fast paced environment
