Lead a team of SAP ABAP developers in the design, development, and implementation of complex SAP solutions.
Write and enhance ABAP programs to meet business requirements, including Reports, Forms, Enhancements, and BADI implementations.
Implement and maintain integrations between SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO) and other systems using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
Conduct performance analysis of ABAP programs, optimize SQL queries, ABAP reports, and system processes for optimal speed and efficiency.
Provide in-depth troubleshooting of complex ABAP programs and resolve issues in SAP production and development environments.
Work with cross-functional teams, including Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and System Architects, to design and implement scalable solutions.
Participate in unit testing, create thorough documentation for all code changes, and ensure proper version control.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, best practices, and coding standards, ensuring all code is efficient, maintainable, and scalable.
Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and share best practices with the team to improve development quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and configuration.
Proven expertise in ABAP programming, including Advanced ABAP, Reports, Forms (Smart forms/Adobe), Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, and Dialog Programming.
Proficient in SAP modules integration such as MM, SD, FICO, and familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for data exchange.
Experience in optimizing ABAP programs, SQL queries, and reports to enhance system performance and minimize resource usage.
Expertise in debugging ABAP code and resolving complex issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 for building user interfaces and integrating them with SAP back-end systems (optional but preferred).
Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and/or SAP HANA for system integration, development, and optimization.
Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git, to manage code changes and ensure quality.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with ABAP.
Experience developing SOAP and RESTful Web Services to integrate SAP with external systems.
Understanding of Agile practices and experience working in Agile development environments.
