SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description

. We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ABAP RAP, and SAP Integration Suite.

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle RICEFW development, complex integrations, API management, and performance optimization within enterprise SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

. Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and forms.

. Deliver end-to-end RICEFW objects, including enhancements to standard SAP processes.

. Develop and optimize ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAPscript. Implement enhancements using User Exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.

. Develop solutions using ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).

. Build and optimize CDS Views and HANA-based developments in SAP S/4HANA.

. Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using Gateway and OData services.

. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize ABAP and Fiori/UI5 applications.

. Develop integration interfaces using File, RFC, IDoc, BAPI, Web Services, Proxy-based integration, and ALE. Design and implement custom iFlows in SAP Integration Suite to integrate SAP S/4HANA with non-SAP applications.

. Identify, analyze, and develop integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management.

. Prototype, develop, deploy, and maintain APIs create OpenAPI specifications for GET, POST, DELETE, and other methods.

. Expose S/4HANA data and services externally through Integration Suite.

. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and release validation.

. Maintain technical design documentation and ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and version control.

. Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Minimum Requirements

. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

. Minimum 7 years of experience as an SAP Developer.

. Strong hands-on expertise in classical and object-oriented ABAP, ALV report development.

. Proficiency in SAP enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs).

. Strong experience with ABAP RAP and SAP S/4HANA architecture.

. Solid knowledge of CDS Views and SAP HANA development.

. Experience in SAP Integration Suite (iFlow development) for S/4HANA and non-SAP integration.

. Good understanding of LSMW, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAPscript, and Unix scripting.

. Experience in SAP Workflow, IDocs, and ALE. Exposure to DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines in SAP environments.

. Knowledge of SAP modules such as Treasury, MM, GL, and BPC.

. Strong debugging, analytical, and performance optimization skills.

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
