We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Salon Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our creative team, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, managing salon staff, optimizing sales, and ensuring seamless operational standards.
1. Leadership & Team Management
Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor salon staff (stylists, assistants, and receptionists).
Build monthly work rosters, manage shift schedules, and process leave requests in compliance with local labor guidelines.
Set performance KPIs for staff and conduct regular performance reviews to foster career growth.
Motivate team members to achieve personal and salon retail/service sales targets.
2. Salon Operations & Customer Experience
Oversee day-to-day salon operations to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Address and resolve customer feedback or complaints promptly with professionalism and grace.
Monitor appointment booking systems, walk-ins, and floor management to minimize wait times.
Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards across all stations.
3. Financial & Retail Management
Manage daily cash registers, end-of-day sales settlements, and petty cash logs.
Monitor and manage inventory levels for both professional back-bar products and retail items.
Place stock orders, conduct monthly stock takes, and minimize product wastage.
Collaborate with management to implement promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and client loyalty programs.
Experience: Proven experience as a Salon Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Stylist looking to step into management (3+ years in the beauty/hair industry preferred).
Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Business Acumen: Basic understanding of salon sales metrics, inventory management, and POS/booking software.
Customer-Centric: Passionate about high-end service standards and client retention.
Flexibility: Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
