As a Salesforce Principal Architect you will play a pivotal role in shaping client solutions, driving pre-sales engagements, and ensuring delivery excellence across Salesforce initiatives.

The role is suited for a consulting professional who is equally comfortable engaging with clients at the executive level, leading solution design, and guiding delivery teams. As a senior member of the Salesforce group, this role will also contribute to establishing ways of working, reusable assets, and practice capability across the broader NCS network.

What will you do

Client Solutioning & Pre-Sales

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping Salesforce solutions that address business needs and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Lead discovery sessions, requirements analysis, and solution design workshops
  • Support sales and account teams in pre-sales activities including scoping, estimating, proposal development, and presentations
  • Showcase Salesforce capabilities through tailored demos and proof-of-concepts
  • Lead complex pre-sales engagements, providing solution oversight, strategic guidance, and executive-level presentations to prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Salesforce and other ecosystem partners to drive joint business opportunities

Delivery Leadership

  • Provide solution oversight during delivery, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with client goals
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and offshore/global delivery teams to ensure solutions are delivered to scope, quality, and timelines
  • Address delivery challenges and act as escalation point for solution-related decisions

Practice Development & People Leadership

  • Contribute to the development of accelerators, templates, and best practices that enhance delivery efficiency and consistency
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, building their Salesforce solutioning and consulting capability
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new Salesforce practitioners into the practice
  • Help define career paths, training, and certification goals for practice members
  • Collaborate with global delivery centres to uplift capability and ensure consistent standards across regions
  • Stay current with Salesforce product releases, industry cloud offerings, and ecosystem developments, and share knowledge across the team

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly essential (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect)
  • Over than 12 years of CRM/Salesforce experience, with at least 6 years in Consulting
  • Demonstrated success in both pre-sales (scoping, estimating, proposals, client presentations) and delivery (solution design, architecture oversight)
  • Strong experience with Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) exposure to Industry Clouds preferred
  • Proven ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and present at executive level
  • Experience collaborating with offshore/global delivery centres
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and roadmap
  • Familiarity with industry trends in customer engagement, digital transformation, and CRM best practices
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Consulting toolkit: requirements gathering, structured problem-solving, commercial awareness
  • Leadership skills to mentor, coach, and contribute to practice capability growth
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to define and execute long-term strategy and translate business goals into actionable plans
  • Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior executives, both internal and external
  • Results Orientation: A strong drive to achieve objectives, overcome obstacles, and deliver measurable business outcomes
