A technology consulting and digital transformation environment is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the design, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-grade CRM and digital service solutions. The role sits within an agile delivery team focused on building scalable and secure applications that support high-impact public sector initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver customised solutions, integrations, and platform enhancements while ensuring strong development standards, documentation quality, and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, customise, and enhance Salesforce-based applications using Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, and declarative platform tools.
· Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solution approaches, and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
· Configure and maintain platform components including users, profiles, roles, security settings, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and flows.
· Design and implement custom objects, fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards to support operational and business requirements.
· Support system integration initiatives with external applications and enterprise platforms through APIs and automation tools.
· Perform data migration and data management activities across CRM environments using standard migration and loading utilities.
· Participate in troubleshooting, code reviews, technical documentation, and optimisation activities to maintain platform quality and performance.
· Contribute to ongoing platform improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to development best practices and governance standards.
Job Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with strong exposure to Service Cloud implementations and enhancements.
· Proven expertise in Apex development, Lightning component development, and Visualforce customisation.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce administration and configuration, including security models, user management, workflows, and automation features.
· Experience designing and configuring custom objects, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and related platform capabilities.
· Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through APIs and related integration technologies.
· Familiarity with CRM data migration activities and tools used for bulk data management and deployment support.
· Ability to work independently, solve complex technical issues, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required. Exposure to OmniStudio or OmniScript would be advantageous.
