Salesforce Technical Architect

We are seeking a high-caliber Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of robust Salesforce solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a unique blend of modern innovation and legacy expertise. You will manage a team of up to 5 developers, overseeing the architectural integrity of our platform, including the maintenance of Salesforce Classic environments and their strategic transition/coexistence with Lightning.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Solution Design
- Hybrid Environment Management: Own the design and maintenance of solutions within both Salesforce Classic and Lightning.
- Technical Discovery: Lead workshops to define business requirements and translate them into a comprehensive technical roadmap.
- Integration & Data: Define and lead strategies for data migration and real-time API-based integrations.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality technical design documents, justifying choices for both modern and legacy frameworks.
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Hands-on Development: Build and maintain complex Visualforce pages, Apex Controllers, and Triggers (Classic) alongside modern Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of up to 5 Salesforce Developers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to best practices.
- Code Governance: Conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring legacy code is optimized and modern code is scalable.
- Release Management: Act as the Release Manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments.
Stakeholder Management
- Strategic Advisory: Recommend when to stay in Classic vs. migrate to Lightning based on business impact and technical debt.
- Backlog Refinement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user stories are technically sound and acceptance criteria are met.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of IT experience, with a heavy focus on end-to-end Salesforce implementations.
- Classic & Lightning Mastery: Proven experience working with Salesforce Classic and modern Lightning frameworks.
- Technical Leadership: Experience leading a team of at least 5 developers (onshore or offshore).
- Integration Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with API Integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Methodology: Proven experience delivering solutions via Agile/Scrum.
Education & Certifications:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related.
- Highly Desirable: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1), Platform Developer II (PD2), and Salesforce Application Architect certification.
- Bonus: OmniStudio Developer certification and experience.
