We are partnering with a fast-growing, tech-enabled food company in Singapore that provides meals on demand and catering solutions for corporate and private events. As the business scales, they are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to lead team growth, drive revenue, and strengthen key client partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3–4 sales representatives through coaching, performance management, and regular reviews
- Support and execute strategic growth initiatives for the sales function
- Oversee daily sales operations to improve efficiency across the funnel
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, acting as the escalation point for key accounts
- Develop and run structured onboarding and training programs for new hires
- Set team targets, KPIs, and reporting cadence to ensure accountability
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to improve client experience and shape strategy
- Refine sales processes, CRM adoption, and overall go-to-market execution
- Support large-scale corporate events and strategic partnerships when required
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B outbound sales
- Prior experience leading, coaching, or managing a small sales team
- Strong track record of hitting team or individual revenue targets
- Excellent account management skills with ability to build senior stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication, leadership, and people development skills
- Data-driven mindset with ability to manage pipeline health and forecast revenue
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Resourceful, proactive, and hands-on in problem solving
