Established since 1991, FOURWAY ENGINEERING PTE LTD has more than 20 years of vast experience in the electrical switchboard field. We are specialized in the design and manufacturing of electrical switchboards, ACMV panels, PLC panels and all types of customized empty metal enclosures.

Primary Responsibility

  • Manage the daily operations of the Sales Support Team while working closely with the Sales department to evaluate and improve sales processes.
  • Coordinate and prepare estimation work by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents, ensuring timely distribution of quotations to relevant staff.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tabulations based on tender drawings and electrical project inquiries.
  • Prepare and submit tender bids for projects and support the Sales team in bid analysis and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure quotation processes comply with company ISO standards and industry best practices.
  • Review cost estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project scope requirements.
  • Provide cost analysis and benefit evaluations to support profitable business decisions for management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and support project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve cost variances and discrepancies through detailed analysis and information gathering.
  • Maintain and regularly update pricing databases, cost keys, and price master records.
  • Monitor service quality closely and ensure adherence to established procedures and operational standards.
  • Screen and manage incoming calls, inquiries, and requests appropriately and efficiently.
  • Drive continuous process and quality improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management are achieved to improve productivity, operational readiness, and departmental objectives.

Secondary Roles

  • Maintain Managing Director's projects including data management and filing.
  • Assist MD in researching and following up with action on matters over selected customers - chasing of responses, triggering follow-up actions.
  • Facilitate Sales Department at the weekly Sales meeting on issues and challenges faced and update on the Quotation status quo.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification with at least 4 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on practical experience in related fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with an electrical engineering or electrical-based background will have an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to multi-task effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to work well both individually and as part of a team.
